Every pollinator-friendly habitat contributes to the long-term health of our natural landscapes. Check out the Pollinator Meadow at South Potter’s Creek Conservation Area! Staff have been busy preparing and planting the meadow for the summer season, alongside community groups who generously volunteer their time to help establish and maintain the meadow over the next few weeks.

A big thank you to our staff, the OFAH , the Prince Edward County Field Naturalists, and all of our dedicated trail tending volunteers who came out yesterday to help combat Dog-strangling Vine at Massassauga Point.

This invasive species can quickly take over natural areas, crowding out native plants and young trees and preventing forests from regenerating.
