provides a variety of volunteer services for the clients and staff of the Quinte Health Care (QHC) Belleville General Hospital (BGH), and for the community at large. BGHA’s fundraising projects are designed to support the in-hospital programs and the work services of the Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary and to augment the requested equipment needed at QHC, Belleville General Hospital from time to time.

Letting the good times roll for our local hospital - Thank-you to the over 120 guests including our hospital partners for joining us this past Saturday (May 2, '26) for a fun evening at the Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary Fundraising Dinner / Dance. Special mention to the organizing committee of Stephanie Vandermey (Convenor), Marlene Corfield, Nancy Dafoe, Paul Reesor and all the support volunteers, Dugout Restaurant for their great service and food, business community for the auction prizes, local media outlets plus the talented, vintage pop music group Joy & The Silhouettes all helping to raise including the 50/50 draw over $4,000 for our local hospital to purchase new equipment and fund in-hospital programs.

Giving Patients a "Lift" in Recovery - From the old crank to the new hydraulic system, Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary ticket seller volunteers L-R Paul Reesor, Angela Ford, Eileen Reesor and Convenor Margaret Carter rolled out the new tilt table on April 13 funded through pull tab ticket proceeds of $7K from the Hospital Equipment Lottery Program for People (HELPP) to aid hospital therapy staff assist stroke recovery to broader inpatient rehab patients safely get upright and begin weight‑bearing earlier in their recovery.

A Gift of Care this Festive Season - - The Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary (BGHA) donated $100,000 to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation (BGHF) to bring the fundraising finish line in sight for the hospital's Fracture Clinic redevelopment. This gift brings the Auxiliary’s total support for the project to $200,000 and means BGHF is within $250,000 of the final fundraising goal. The cheque was formally presented at the Auxiliary’s annual Holiday lunch on December 16, 2025 at St. Matthew's United Church.
