The Kubs have busy busy these past few weeks getting their Kub Kars ready for the race at BUC and then to the area race at Mic Mac Mall last weekend .

This chilly weekend our Scout Troop and Cub Pack came together to give the older youth the opportunity to share their fire building, shelter skills and a hike with the Cubs.

From there the Scouts had a great time playing cards, making dinner and having a good ol’ sleep over in our Miller Lake cabin.

From Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Scouters and you our community we want to THANK everyone who participated in our bottle drive, and for those scouters from the past that came by to say hello.

We raised over $900.

These funds go to programming that directly benefit the youth in 1st Bedford.

The 1st Bedford Scouts will be holding a Bottle Drive on Saturday, November 15th from 9 AM to 2 PM, right across the Bedford Highway from the Bedford United Church.

As Halloween creeps closer, we know there will be plenty of empty juice boxes, pop cans, and bottles after all that trick-or-treating fun 🍬🥤 — so hang onto them and help support local Scouting!

💚 All proceeds go to support our local 1st Bedford Scout programs
🚗 Can’t make it to us? No problem — send us a direct message, and we’ll be happy to come pick them up!

A huge shout out to our Scouting sections and their families who came out to support our annual leaf raking at Bedford United Church. Thank you for all your hard work!

A big thank you to our “Leaf Fairies” who appeared with their industrial leaf blowers. They arrived earlier in the morning to blow the leaves into more manageable piles for us. I can’t thank you enough!
