Dear members and users of the Triangle Ski Club.
As you have likely heard, there is a proposal process now in place to expand the lands that Charleston Lake Provincial Park manages to include the land known as βThe Leeder Blockβ. This includes the land on which The Triangle Ski Club has had the privilege of using since 1972.
This proposal has the potential to alter how our members and guests access these incredible trails. We strongly encourage you to read and comment on the proposal, which is found at https://ero.ontario.ca/notice/025-0031
Deadlines for submission is April 20, 2026. More information about this expansion can be found at Province Expanding Charleston Lake Provincial Park | Ontario Newsroom https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1007125/province-expanding-charleston-lake-provincial-park
Please pass this on to anyone you know who has a current, past, or possible future with the Triangle Ski Club.
Your voices and opinions are important and may be the difference in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our club and trail network.
Please reach out to us at [email protected] if we can help support your understanding of this process.
Thanks so much,
Triangle Ski Club Executive
