New faces, familiar smiles, and a community that continues to show up in the most beautiful way! ✨
Our 2nd Annual 5K for Amber’s Wings was more than just miles walked or run — it was about the connections made, the encouragement shared, and the incredible sense of togetherness felt from start to finish.

One of the biggest highlights? Seeing so many new faces join our growing community and hearing all the positive feedback afterward! Every kind word, shared smile, and heartfelt conversation reminded us why we do this.

To everyone who showed up, spread the word, or supported us along the way - thank you for being part of something so special. Here’s to continuing to grow, connect, and make a difference, one step at a time! 💙

Save the date for next year, October 30th, 2027!

Today’s riding lesson was all about pole work! Seeing our Rising Stars build their confidence, develop their riding skills, and achieve new things is exactly why we do what we do!🦋💙

Did you know Amber’s Wings has a Rising Stars Equestrian Program? 🌟 Our program helps riders develop their skills, confidence, and connection with horses, one lesson at a time!

O’Shea has been a participant of Amber’s Wings since our first cohort in march 2024 and is now also a volunteer. O’Shea has become family to us and we are so proud of her. She will be making and selling her delicious cookies at this year’s 5k to be held next weekend on October 31st starting and finishing at See Horse stables. Come out and support or programs and O’Shea, the countdown is on! https://www.royalgazette.com/local-business/business/article/20261007/sister-act-dangerously-delicious-cookies-on-the-menu/?fbclid=IwZnRzaAVIyI9leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBwZG9mBWZkaWQWUQ1PxGY6eRUzzt69UPejd83qMsxwanNydGMGYXBwX2lkCjY2Mjg1NjgzNzkAAR5jr0BcwuurjQKngsrM2G7T0VB44GRlsxgJiw_jEGvbt8cXGFyZI2015_OeSA_aem

Behind everything we do there is a group of kind hearted volunteers who assist whenever possible. This group of young ladies from the Somersfield interact program and their lead teachers are a great example of that. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for really mucking in to help around the barn. Do you need volunteer hours? Would you like to make a difference in a child’s life? Contact us, we always need help in many different capacities!

Whilst our kiddos and our equine partners are on a much needed mid-term break this week we wanted to share something with you all.

There is more to our sessions than a photograph can show. 💙

Each week, we share moments of joy, connection and achievement at Amber’s Wings. We love celebrating those moments—but they tell only part of the story.

There are also difficult moments. Frustration. Uncertainty. Feelings that are hard to name. Times when a young person needs support to pause, work through a challenge, communicate a need or find the confidence to try again.

We protect those moments because children deserve privacy and dignity as they learn and grow.

Our Equine Assisted Learning sessions are purposeful, carefully supported experiences that help young people develop emotional awareness, strengthen relationships and build resilience. Sometimes progress looks like a smile or a new achievement. Sometimes it looks like asking for help, setting a boundary or returning to something that felt difficult.

Enjoyment is an important part of this work. It helps create the connection and engagement that make deeper learning possible.

Behind the happy photographs is meaningful work—and young people working hard in ways you may never see. 🦋
