We are proud to share the success of our event “AI-Driven Growth: Scaling Business Internationally in the AI Era” 🚀

With over 55 attendees, the event brought together key voices from government, industry, and the innovation ecosystem to explore how AI is shaping the future of business and cross-border collaboration.
We were honored to open the event with inspiring remarks from the Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, Mr. Borislav Bankov and H. E. Mrs. Hilde Svartdal Lunde, Ambassador of Norway to Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova!

The program featured dynamic discussions on:

🔹 Turning market demand into scalable AI solutions

🎄✨ Christmas Celebration with a Nordic Spirit – Thank You for Celebrating with Us! ✨🎄

The Norwegian–Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and SweCham Bulgaria had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful Christmas Celebration, together with colleagues and friends from the Nordic community.

The evening was filled with festive spirit, warm conversations, beautiful Santa Lucia songs, performed by the students from Scandinavian Studies at Sofia University, pleasant surprises, and plenty of good mood 🤍✨

🎄 General Assembly of the Norwegian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) 🎄

We are pleased to share highlights from the General Assembly, held on 16 December 2025 in Sofia.
We reviewed the Chamber’s activities and financial results, discussed future priorities, and elected new Board management:

Yesterday Bulgaria and Norway (together with Iceland and Liechtenstein) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a new programme period of the EEA and Norway Grants in Bulgaria.

260 million Euro have been allocated to Bulgaria in the upcoming period, making it the third largest recipient of EEA funds. In addition to the individual agreement with the recipient country, a separate fund to support civil society has been established, receiving 10% of the allocated funds.

The funds available to Bulgaria cover almost all areas of European cohesion policy.
