Our participants have returned from the Youth Exchange “Upcycle Me” in Bansko, Bulgaria, carrying home much more than memories - they returned with new knowledge, meaningful friendships, fresh ideas, and inspiration to create positive change in their communities. 💚

During this inspiring experience, the young people had the opportunity to explore sustainability through creative workshops, teamwork, intercultural learning, and hands-on activities. From developing sustainable ideas and projects, to learning about upcycling and discussing greener ways of living, every day was filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration. ♻️🏡

As partners in this project, we are proud to see our participants grow, share their perspectives, and actively contribute to important conversations about the future of our planet. Experiences like these remind us that sustainability starts with small actions, open minds, and young people willing to make a difference. 🌍

A huge thank you to the organizers, partners, and all participants for making “Upcycle Me” such a meaningful and unforgettable experience! 💫

🌿 CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – EcoMove Youth Exchange 🌿

👥 Participants from North Macedonia: 5 participants + 1 group leader

✨ What is EcoMove?
EcoMove is a Youth Exchange that brings together young people who want to live healthier, move more, and learn how sport and ecology can shape their everyday lives. Through activities like football, volleyball, hiking, outdoor challenges, and creative team games, participants will explore the connection between physical activity, wellbeing, and sustainability.
At the same time, the project includes workshops, debates, and simulations focused on eco-friendly habits and environmental awareness, showing how small actions can create real impact.

👤 Participant Profile:
• Age: 16–18
• Basic level of English
• Interested in sport, movement, healthy lifestyle and ecology
• Motivated to participate actively and work in a team

👤 Group Leader Profile:
• 25+ years old
• Good English level
• Experience in youth work and group facilitation

💸 Costs:
• Accommodation, food, and program costs are fully covered by Erasmus+
• Travel costs are reimbursed up to a certain limit, depending on whether you travel green or not

🇪🇺 Во рамките на Европската недела за млади, се одржа неформалната средба „Youth Coffee Lab – Ајде да зборуваме“, организирана од .eduart , .levelup , , со поддршка од Националната агенција за европски образовни програми и мобилност.

Настанот се одржа на 30 април 2026 во Edge Café, Скопје, и собра околу 30 млади, како и претставници од 8 организации.

Атмосферата беше опуштена, но исполнета со квалитетни и искрени разговори. Организациите имаа можност да се претстават, да споделат што работат, кои иницијативи и проекти ги нудат и како младите можат да се вклучат. Од друга страна, младите отворено зборуваа за своите искуства со Еразмус+, волонтирање и активна вклученост, но и за тоа што им недостасува денес – од можности до вештини и знаења.

Во рамки на средбата се одржа и кратка интерактивна сесија каде што се поврзаа потребите на младите со капацитетите на организациите. Токму таму се отворија идеи за нови соработки, идни проекти и конкретни активности.

Средбата траеше малку подолго од планираното, што само покажува дека имаше интерес и добра енергија помеѓу сите присутни. Се создадоа нови контакти, се најавија идни партнерства, а дел од младите веќе направија чекор кон вклучување во организациите.

Ова беше една убава и корисна средба која уште еднаш покажа колку е важно да се создава простор за дијалог помеѓу младите и организациите. Голема благодарност до Националната агенција за поддршката и како и пакетчињата со материјали што беа споделени со сите учесници.

Во рамки на Европската недела на млади, те покануваме на неформална средба каде што ги поврзуваме младите и организациите – опуштено, искрено и без формалности.

🚀 Yesterday we kicked off the final dissemination meeting of the CARE – Promoting Mental Health in Youth Work project. 🧠

Partners from Romania, Spain, Italy and North Macedonia joined us in Skopje and we spent the day working through everything we’ve built over the past months – the toolkit, the manuals, the activities in each country, and all the details for the final conference. 📈

🌟 There’s been a lot of work behind this project, so it’s really good to finally sit together, align everything, and get ready to present it.

Today we continue with the final conference at Netaville (17 April).

From 10–18 December, Miłków, Poland became a warm meeting point for learning, exchange, and connection 🇵🇱✨

Through the Erasmus+ project “Next Step: Employment”, our participant had the opportunity to join an international group of young people and organisations exploring future career paths together. During the week, they took part in workshops, discussions, and activities focused on employment skills, sharing experiences and listening to many inspiring personal stories from across Europe.

We are happy to see how naturally friendships were created and how much confidence and motivation our participant brought back home. Beyond the knowledge gained, the project strengthened intercultural understanding and reminded us how powerful it is when people from different backgrounds come together with openness and curiosity.

They returned with new competences, meaningful memories, and connections that will continue beyond the project 💫
Erasmus+ truly leaves a lasting impact - not only on individuals, but also on the communities they belong to.

Are we catching up with GEN Z and GEN Alpha?
“Hopefully, yes.”
“We need to do more to stay relevant for young people joining our activities.”

“We belong to GEN Z and GEN Alpha and know what they need.”
One question and three possible answers. What would be your answers as youth workers, leaders? Can you take a moment and reflect if and how you are following the trends and changes all around?

We took the moment, and in January we met with a group of youth workers and leaders in Czechia to reflect on the needs and interests of GEN Z and GEN Alpha, with the simple goals – to explore if our youth work methods are still relevant or outdated, to discuss the similarities or differences that the representatives of these generations share, as well as to discuss environmental issues that seem to be important for young people belonging to GEN Z.
Moreover, we also visited the school GEEK in Brno and had the opportunity to question our approach towards education and why it is triggering for us when school does not look like it did back in our childhood.

Furthermore, we also took a look at the methods and tools that we use and reflected on things that have changed. Do we use inclusive language? Are we using interactive methods? What are the things that are really outdated?
We did not have clear answers to all the questions that we asked; nevertheless, we got inspiration and a so much-needed moment for reflection.

The activity was realized within the project ‘Youth TOOLS Residencies‘, 2025-1-CZ01-KA153-YOU-000297555 focused on exploring the needs of GEN Z and GEN Alpha and developing the competencies of youth workers to address the needs of young people representing these generations.

The project is realized with the support of the Erasmus + Programme and brings together youth workers from Czechia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Hungary, France and North Macedonia.
