Eltham & District Woodworkers A not for profit club, fostering an interest in woodwork throughout the local community Visitors are most welcome. Our club has approximately 100+ members.

The Club has a general meeting of all members on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 8pm in the CFA meeting room on Ironbark Rd, Yarrambat. The club house (our cover photo) is next door to the Yarrambat CFA. The club caters for all aspects of woodworking. Special interest groups include cabinet making, carving, woodturning, pyrography and scroll sawing. We are involved in club events during the year

, with our Annual Exhibition being the highlight. We also assist other community groups and associations on a regular basis.

One of the joys of woodworking in the modern age is that one can use machinery and end up with near perfectly regular forms as in commercial furniture. Or one can use hand tools and fashion free form shapes reflecting natural materials with no regular edges. Here Christopher has done just that.
