Hello everyone,

Here is the reminder about this year's AGM.

Our AGM is set for: Saturday 23 November at 11am in the garden.
Note - the Xmas party 🎅🧑‍🎄will follow on straight after the meeting; so please bring something to share.

At the AGM we will elect a new committee, discuss the past year of activity and make plans for the year ahead.

To be able to vote at the meeting, you need to be a financial member.

If you have not paid up in this financial year, please do so before coming to the meeting.

If you are unsure about or want to check your financial status on the day, then we can accept cash at the meeting if necessary.

Finally, if you can’t make it to the AGM but are interested in joining our committee or letting someone else vote on your behalf, please ask for a nomination form or proxy form.

Dear Community, Thrive Community Garden Inc. is a charitable organisation that operates solely through small grants and a very small membership fee of $10 per year. Our members and neighbours of the garden work very hard to grow produce and maintain the garden. Many buy or donate plants and trees so produce can be shared.🪴 It has been very upsetting to find that our entire cherry crop has been stripped (before the fruit was even ripe), over 100 garlic bulbs have been stolen, and we are seeing produce stolen almost daily. Our produce is shared between our members and we commit to donating a portion of our produce to Greenhills Neighbourhood House so that it can help to support people that may be experiencing difficulty accessing fresh food.

We love to have members join and invest some of their time in growing fruit trees for future generations and growing annual crops. Please come and join us rather than work against us. Our members are feeling very disappointed and that they are wasting their time.
