You might have seen our very first proper advertising campaign recently! For those who missed it, here's our ad that follows the story of Pixie and Clover on their journey to a new life. We're pretty proud of this one, we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we loved making it ###

Can you help us with free cardboard boxes and newspapers? We need a steady supply for our new adoption centre at Wyong, for our animals from research.
We need any type of clean newspaper and rat sized boxes made from sturdy cardboard around 20-40cm long/wide.
You can contact us at [email protected] or drop off at 6 Rose Street Wyong from 10am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday. Just look for the pink Liberty signs out the front.
Our critters would be very grateful!

Watch our first report from Rodent Central. Find out what we've been building at the new Liberty Adoption Centre, a home away from home for rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and mice while they await adoption into their forever homes. The new centre, located less than an hour's north of Sydney, will be the first of its kind in Australia!

Please consider making a donation to support the new centre and help us get more animals out of research into loving homes.
Donations are gratefully recieved at:

We're hiring! We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Operations Manager to run our new small animal adoption centre located on the sunny Central Coast of NSW. Less than an hour from Sydney and two minutes walk from Wyong train station, the new Liberty Adoption Centre is the first of its kind in Australia.
The centre will provide sanctuary and top-quality care for small animals exiting research facilities and find them loving homes in the community.
The role provides a unique opportunity for the right person to play a pivotal role in the success of the centre in its pilot stage and get onboard with a very exciting and rewarding initiative.
If you, or someone you know, has experience working with rabbits, guinea pigs, rats or mice, make sure to look at our job ad on SEEK or Ethical Jobs:
https://www.ethicaljobs.com.au/members/Liberty17/operations-manager-animal-care-wyong
https://www.seek.com.au/job/91216346?ref=direct-share-hirer-jobs-list

Applications are open until 5pm on 13 April 2026.
The centre is operated by Liberty Foundation Australia - https://www.libertyfoundation.org.au

They can be adopted into homes in NSW, ACT, QLD or Vic. We can arrange transport for the girls to their new home.
They can be adopted as compatible groups of three or more.

We wanted to give a big thanks to Dr Peter from Centennial Park Vet who has provided excellent care for our rabbits recently and a special resident Corky the rat. Here he is pictured with one of our stunning girls currently looking for her forever home.
Thanks Peter and your team for supporting our charitable mission and our precious animals from research ### 🐰🐇😘🐁🐀

Janey and Ruby are really exceptional bunnies, who love each other and their human companions. These eight month old girls are great fun to have around the house and really enjoy being part of the family, whether it's zooming around or having a cuddle.
Their foster carer says they're confident and clever bunnies, who like to interact and explore and are getting really good at using their litter tray. She thinks they're ready to take the next step of finding their forever home.
We are accepting applications from homes in NSW, ACT and Victoria, where the girls can live as indoor house rabbits.
Janey and Ruby are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and can be delivered to their new home. Their adoption fee is $352 including GST.
If you'd like to talk about adoption, just fill out our online form and we'll get straight back to you:
https://www.libertyfoundation.org.au/apply

We look forward to hearing from you xx 🐇🐰💓😍
