Phoenix Youth Support is a non-profit youth service for young people aged 12 to 18 and their families. We provide support, advocacy, advice and referral, as well as fun, helpful activities and programs to help empower young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives.

Wyong Neighbourhood Centre Inc - Phoenix Youth Support Service

Steadfast. Tenacious. Authentic.

For two decades, Chris has been helping vulnerable youth through the Wyong Neighbourhood Centre, mentoring those who face struggles such as mental health, housing, education or family. His own difficult past means he brings empathy and compassion as he delivers his vital support, which includes anger management programs and guidance through the justice system.

If Chris is successful, the prize money will help repair and redevelop two vandalised outdoor yarning circles at the Wyong Neighbourhood Centre.

Voting opens: 19 August 2025 (9am NZST, 7am AEST, 6:30am ACST & 5am AWST)

Voting closes: 8 September 2025 (8pm NZST, 6pm AEST, 5:30pm ACST & 4pm AWST)
