Cape Paterson SLSC is a volunteer life saving organisation that patrols the beach at Cape Paterson between the end of November and Easter.

Dave O’Neil, one of Australia’s most loved comedians, is coming to Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club for a big night of laughs.

You’ll know Dave from Spicks and Specks, Fisk, The Junkees with Kitty Flanagan and Somehow Related with Glenn Robbins.

In his brand-new show, Dave has had enough of being called a Boomer when he’s actually Gen X. Sure, he’s 60 and life now involves colonoscopies, podiatrist appointments and soft food, but at least he gets the special seat on the bus.
Expect a warm, fast-paced and very funny night of observational comedy for Gen X, Boomers, retirees and anyone who could use a proper laugh. Teenagers are welcome too, although Dave says he may need someone to pick on.

It’s set to be a great night out. Don’t miss it.

Funds raised from the evening will go directly towards supporting our lifesaving operations and community programs.

The chef’s back! 👨‍🍳🍷

Come down to the Club this Thursday from 5pm and enjoy some delicious food, local Gippsland wines and beers.

It’s a good excuse to get out of the house on a winter evening and catch up with friends and take the night off from cooking!

Sunset Drinks is on this Thursday!

The chef is away, so feel free to BYO food or nibbles. We’ll have chips available, plus a few other surprises.

The bar will be open and Happy Hour is running from 5–7pm, with all Gippsland wines and beers just $8.

It’s a good excuse to get out of the house on a winter evening, catch up with some friends, enjoy a drink and watch the sunset (assuming it isn't raining!).

Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club members are invited to join us for our 2026 Annual General Meeting this Saturday, 15 August.

🕚 AGM starts at 11.00am

All members have received an email notification with AGM details. If you’re attending, please RSVP, or send through an apology if you can’t make it, to help us with catering.

Then, make a day of it and join us back at the Club in the evening for a special live performance from multi-award-winning Australian country artist Andrew Swift.

A Golden Guitar winner and one of Australia’s most respected country performers, Andrew is known for his honest songwriting, powerful vocals and engaging live shows.
