Are you wondering where the Rescue Station Arts building is?

Go past the Wonthaggi Hospital ( about 100 metres) on West Area Rd. Turn right into Parks Victoria car park for number 5 Brace ( an old mostly dilapidated framework) on the left of the driveway. Continue down the gravel road until you see the Rescue Station building as shown above. The blue line on the map below. 😊

Rescue Station Arts are delighted to once again offer after school arts program for kids. Rachel Bennett will be taking classes from 415 pm to 530 pm each Tuesday starting Tuesday 21st April for second term in 2026. For bookings , please call Wendy on 0408 721 949.

I’m very excited about taking the kids’ art group. I have many plans, looking at 3D sculpture, light and shade, playing around with water colours, looking at different brush strokes and techniques, abstract weaving, different sorts of printing, and encouraging the kids to follow their imagination and creative side. !

Good news. Our new amenities block is now up and running. We are grateful to Bass Coast Shire for their support via the Quick Response Grant to enable lighting to the block adding a safety element for all users. Great improvement!
