A huge thank you to KP and Shaz from Need a Feed for joining us at our community outreach today and serving up the most delicious fresh pancakes made with love. πŸ₯ž
The smiles, connection, and warmth you brought to our community did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to many more pancakes, conversations, and connections ahead.

Every week, thanks to the incredible support of OzHarvest, our shelves are filled with fresh produce, pantry staples and essential food items that make a real difference in the lives of local families and individuals.

Behind the scenes, our amazing volunteer team sorts, cleans, packs and prepares hundreds of kilograms of food with care, dignity and compassion. What arrives as a delivery becomes food on family tables, support for people doing it tough, and supplies for several other community food initiatives we proudly support.

To OzHarvest – thank you for helping us ensure good food doesn’t go to waste and instead reaches the people who need it most.

To our volunteers – thank you for the countless hours, the heavy lifting, the attention to detail, and the kindness you bring every single week. None of this would be possible without you

A heartfelt thank you to Sanja for this beautiful watercolour artwork she created for WRF.

Through her art, Sanja has captured her interpretation of who we are and the role we play within our community. For Sanja, art is a way of expressing herself, and this piece reflects what WRF means to herβ€”a positive, welcoming, and safe place where people can come together, connect, and belong.

We are honoured that Sanja chose to share this with us. Her artwork now sits proudly alongside other community-created pieces, each telling a story of connection, hope, and belonging.

Thank you, Sanja, for your creativity, generosity, and for seeing WRF through such a thoughtful and beautiful lens. πŸ’™

Big shout out to Sara and Max at Cafe Persona, Crown St Wollongong.

These generous hot meals made their way into community and reminded us just how powerful a meal made with care can be β€” warm, fresh, dignified, and shared with heart.

The food is scrumptious, the coffee is spot on, and the people behind it have big hearts!

Thank you for showing up for community in such a genuine way.

Big shoutout to the incredible Hysata team β€” true Champions of Warrawong!

Their values say it all: Support, Honesty, Respect, Empathy and Kindness (SHREK) β€” and they continue to live those values through action.

From backing our Christmas Appeal to recently hosting a morning tea that will go a long way in supporting of our upcoming youth-led event, the Hysata team have shown what it means to genuinely step in, get involved, and stand alongside community.

At WRF, we try to express gratitude wherever we can β€” because support like this matters. Not just for what it provides, but for the message it sends to our young people and families when community shows up.

We are incredibly grateful for the Hysata team.

Warrawong Residents Youth Forum at its best!! Great job team!

This week Paul Scully MP and Alison Byrnes MP caught up with the students at Warrawong High School to chat all things e-bikes and e-scooters πŸš²βš‘πŸ›΄

The students had plenty of thoughtful ideas and honest opinions about how young people are using e-bikes and e-scooters, and it was great to hear directly from them about the conversation happening in the community. Warrawong Residents Forum at Warrawong Community Centre
