Dear Community Members,
We want to say a big thank you for coming to the CNDP's Annual Fundraising Dinner on 10 October 2026. It was a great event, and we could not have done it without your support and participation.
A special thank you to all the executive members and their families. You worked very hard to plan and run the event. Your hard work made the day special for everyone.
We also want to thank all the volunteers who helped make the event happen. We truly appreciate your time and effort. We could not have done it without you. We also expressed our gratitude to all the sponsors for their generous financial contributions to the fundraising dinner, which were greatly appreciated.
Thank you again to everyone who came to the dinner. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We also thank the Hon. MP Mathew Hilakari for joining the event, playing a game with our guests, and entertaining them. We are also grateful for the speech from Moenika Hubsch from South Africa and for the speeches from the CNDP management.
We look forward to seeing you at our next community event.

For more than a decade, CNDP has proudly supported different causes and helped people in need across Australia and Bangladesh. As a small community organisation, we have seen how even a little support can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

We are all busy with work, family and everyday responsibilities. But being involved with a local community organisation gives us the opportunity to pause, come together and give something back to the community that has given us so much.

You are invited to the CNDP Annual Fundraising Dinner Saturday 10th October,2026.
This is our biggest event of the year. We welcome you to come and enjoy an evening of:

Cultural shows and performances
Delicious food
Exciting auctions and a raffle draw
This year, we hope to raise money for two great causes:

1. Foodbank Victoria – a non-profit group that gives food to people in need across Victoria. They feed 76,000 people every day.

2. BERNOSSUS – a free health community clinic in Bangladesh. It gives basic health care to poor women and children. The clinic runs three days a week in Uttara, Dhaka. They need more funds to keep helping the community.

The CNDP was established in 2013 (previously known as the Phulbari Support Group) as a not-for-profit, non-political, and non-religious volunteer organisation based in Melbourne, Australia. Our mission is to help and provide assistance to disadvantaged and poor people living in local areas in Bangladesh and Australia through community network, participation, and engagement.

In the coming months, the new Executive Committee will be working diligently to establish their goals, formulate strategies, and plan for the future. We also welcome community feedback and suggestions for how we can better serve our members and the wider community.

Call for Project Submissions

CNDP invites the Bangladeshi community to submit any projects in Bangladesh to raise funds for in 2026. We encourage community members to share their ideas and proposals.
