Chick and I had the pleasure of presenting to Daz the owner of Pearcedale Garden Centre who was the lucky recipient of the self-propelled wheelbarrow by Greenworks Australia that was won by his father-in-law, John Piccolo of Car #32 - Lovers not Mechanics via auction held at breakfast at Mataranka on day 9 of the Bash before starting our journey to Adelaide River in the Northern Territory.

Chick got to have a photoshoot with JAK Max and Greenworks Australia.

A huge thank you to Adam who graciously donated a self-propelled wheelbarrow for Car 8686 to auction as part of our fundraising efforts for the Hamilton to Darwin Variety Bash in August this year.

Surrounded by the extensive range of Outdoor Power Equipment and Recreational vehicles offered under the Greenworks banner.

Sunday the 26th was the launch for the 2026 Variety Bash to Exmouth in Western Australia. Car 8686 Chick Hicks will be attending the event this afternoon.

The 2025 winner of the Spirit of Lake Entrance Award (Best Presented Car) will be on display.

Looking forward to seeing our fellow Bashers any future rookies looking for a new adventure to help raise money to kids around Australia.
