Together We Belong 2026 ❤️

Building connections. Strengthening community. Creating belonging.

Together We Belong 2026, organised by Lighthouse Aid Limited, brought families and community members together for an evening focused on reconnecting, building new friendships and strengthening community bonds.

The event created a welcoming space for people of different ages and backgrounds to meet, participate and develop a stronger sense of connection and belonging. It was especially encouraging to see our younger generation actively participating and volunteering, helping build the foundations for an engaged and connected community into the future.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and contributed to making the gathering a success. We look forward to continuing initiatives that reduce social isolation, encourage participation, strengthen community networks and create meaningful connections.

🏸 Weekly Badminton Night | Play • Connect • Thrive

Another wonderful evening of badminton, friendship and community connection!

Lighthouse Aid Limited’s Weekly Badminton Night is about more than just playing a game. It’s an opportunity for children, adults and families to stay active, connect with others, reduce stress and enjoy time together in a welcoming community environment.

We are grateful to the City of Canning for supporting this community initiative through a small grant and helping us continue to promote health, wellbeing and social connection.

Alhamdulillah! A beautiful milestone for Lighthouse Aid.

Today, Lighthouse Aid Limited handed over BDT 500,000 to Saad, enabling him to repay the loans taken for his education and begin his journey at IUT free from the burden of debt.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, shared the appeal, made dua, and trusted Lighthouse to make this possible.

Together, we have not only supported a student’s education, but helped light the path to hope and opportunity for an entire family.

May Allah accept and reward every contribution.

🏠 Housing & Shelter: Fully completed and handed over a safe home for Monjel Fokir's family in Rajbari, Bangladesh.

🍼 Ongoing Family & Child Support: Provided monthly living and education support to vulnerable families, including primary education funding and livelihood assistance.

🚑 Emergency Relief: Provided crucial financial breathing room to Sahanaz Parveen's family to avoid eviction.

🚲 Micro-Enterprise Support: Empowered local traders like Azad, Mojibur, and Mohammad Hanef Ali Sheikh with tools like battery-driven easy bikes, rickshaws, and capital injections to build sustainable livelihoods.

📚 Education Support: Raised over 51% of our target to support Syed Saad Abdullah's undergraduate engineering future.

🏸 Community & Wellbeing: Kept our local community connected and active right here in Perth through our free weekly Lighthouse Community Badminton Nights!
