The Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market is ready to go — we just need the rain to take the day off! Enough of the soggy grounds… we’re over it.
We’re hanging out for a proper market morning — sizzling bacon & egg rolls, sausage sandwiches, fresh coffee from the van, and plenty of bargain hunting to keep you busy.
So bring your sunnies, your appetite, and your best bargain-spotting skills — let’s make this one a beauty! See you there.

We thank you for your comments and truly understand your concerns — we share your frustration whenever a market has to be cancelled.
Our markets are a vital part of our fundraising, with proceeds going directly back into supporting our local community. Over the past 12 months, only four markets have been cancelled, which reflects how committed we are to holding them whenever possible.
Two main suggestions have been raised:
1. Changing the venue
We have explored alternative locations, however factors such as cost, council or private land approvals, insurance requirements, and even police regulations have made it difficult to find a suitable option within the local area. That said, we are always open to respectful suggestions and welcome any ideas you may have.
2. Moving the market to the following Sunday
Unfortunately, dates cannot simply be swapped. All events require council approval, and applications can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months. We secure Terrigal Lagoon bookings well in advance.

Oh no… not again
Unfortunately, the Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market scheduled for this Easter Sunday has been cancelled. With over 25mm of rain already falling today, the grounds have become too wet, and any further use risks damage to the council park — something we simply can’t allow.
As the photos show, the conditions have made this decision unavoidable. No one is more disappointed than we are.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that better weather is on the way and that we can be back, bigger and better, on May 3rd.

Ready for Easter Sunday Fun!

The Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market is back this Easter Sunday and we can’t wait to see you there!

Fingers crossed the rain stays away so that our wonderful community can come together and enjoy everything the markets have to offer. Browse the stalls, grab a bargain, and don’t forget to treat yourself to a delicious sausage sandwich or a classic bacon and egg roll — perfectly paired with a fresh coffee from the coffee van.

Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club – Meat Raffle Update
In lieu of our usual Friday Night Meat Raffle at the Terrigal Hotel, and with Good Friday on 3rd April, the raffle will be held one day earlier on Thursday 2nd April.
Come along for your chance to win some great meat trays, and while you're there we’ll also be drawing a special Easter Hamper Raffle packed with Easter goodies!

Easter Sunday Car Boot Market is BACK!
The Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market returns on Easter Sunday, 5th April — and after missing March, we’re making this one bigger, better, and busier than ever!
Come along for a wander through the stalls, grab a bargain or two, and start the day right with the Lions’ legendary sausage sizzles and bacon & egg rolls.
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour the night before as Daylight Saving ends.
Now all we need is a bit of Easter luck and fingers crossed for fantastic weather.

With sadness, the call has been made to cancel this Sunday’s Car Boot Market for the Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club.

Unfortunately, after around 5 inches of rain, the condition of the ground is not suitable for holding the markets, as the photos show. The safety of our stallholders and visitors must come first.

The next Car Boot Market will be held on Easter Sunday in April, and we look forward to seeing everyone back then for a great day.

Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market

A very Happy New Year to all and we hope that the year brings you happiness, good health and many enjoyable moments within our community.

Subject to suitable weather and dry grounds, the Terrigal Wamberal Lions Club Car Boot Market will be held on Sunday 1 February 2026 at Terrigal Lagoon.

The usual markets will be attending, offering plenty of bargains and great finds. The Lions Club will be firing up the BBQ with their popular sausage sizzle and bacon and egg rolls, and of course the coffee van will be there serving up lovely coffee to start your morning right.

We look forward to seeing you there for a relaxed and enjoyable morning by the lagoon.

Terrigal Wamberal Lions Car Boot Market Update
Please note there will be no Car Boot Market in January.
We’ll be back on the first Sunday in February at the Terrigal Lagoon Lions Park, with all the usual stalls back in full swing. The Lions will be firing up the BBQ with their popular sausage sandwiches and bacon & egg rolls, all perfectly complemented by a great coffee from the coffee van.
