An amazing night on Friday with a great time had by all! A great attendance of about 190 kids spread between the two halls. They were all excellently behaved but it still really gave our volunteers a work out (the way things are going we could really use some help with volunteers!)

Some amazing prizes were given out and we had a special visit from two of Tatura’s newest members - Maddy and Joel, who loved meeting the young locals. We all loved seeing the brilliant costumes and the effort put in by so many kids. See you all next year!!

Prizes galore prepared for tomorrow night - with a couple of big prizes! Two Nintendo Switch Lites with will given away tomorrow night! Of course the very popular teddies and squishees will be up for grabs too! Put on your best Halloween costumes and come have a great time.

💙 TATURA BLUE LIGHT NEEDS YOU! 💙

Our Blue Light Discos are only possible because of the incredible volunteers who give up a little of their time to make a big difference in the lives of local kids.

We’re looking for new committee members to help us continue running four Blue Light Discos each year for the children of Tatura and surrounding communities.

This week I’d like to introduce you to a couple of our Committee members, Reine and Brad Wootton. They’ve been a major part of bringing the discos to fruition for over two years now and we couldn’t do it without them. Business owners (Check out “Brads magic meats” in Vaughan street Shepparton- I recommend the pork belly and brisket!) the fact that they commit the time they do is highly commendable.

The energy and positive vibes they bring to events, along with their awesome daughter Penny who now also volunteers, makes the discos truly what they are - fun for all ages.

We couldn’t do what we do without good people like these. True champions of Tatura.

Hi! I thought it’s high time we introduced some of the hard working committee members and volunteers, but first we’ll introduce the one who rides on everyone else’s coat-tails… me!

I’m Sergeant Pete Aitken of Mooroopna Police station and currently act as the secretary of the committee. I’ve been involved with Tatura Blue Light since 2017, when I first arrived at Tatura police station. Despite moving stations along the Midland Highway I still love being involved with this fantastic program and contributing towards the enjoyment of our local kids. At the discos you’d usually see me running the music, carrying around the mega phone and giving out prizes.
