Congratulations to Campbell on completing his Baden Powell Scout Award (BPSA) Adventurous Journey along the legendary 85km Old Ghost Road in New Zealand! πŸ™ŒπŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ

Joined by an incredible team β€”
Callum (1st Caringbah Rovers)
Ash (1st Picnic Point Rovers)
Bree (Seddon Park Rovers)

This nine-day international expedition through alpine ridgelines, dense beech forests, river valleys, and historic goldmining country was nothing short of extraordinary. 🌏πŸ”₯

From steep climbs and technical descents to fast-changing alpine weather and long days of hut-to-hut trekking, this journey pushed every member of the Patrol to dig deep, stay resilient, and rely on one another every step of the way. πŸ₯Ύβ›°οΈ

A huge thank you to Scouts Australia's Dick & Pip Smith Leadership Through Adventure Fund (LTAF) β€” this Journey would not have been possible without their generous support. πŸ’›

The Patrol would also like to extend our gratitude to:
🌟 Paul Beitelis, Journey Advisor
🌟 Ruby Mavor & Lisa Pickering, Scouts Australia International Team
🌟 Lloyd Nurthen, NSW Chief Commissioner
For guiding the team through the international paperwork and ensuring the Journey could go ahead smoothly.

Massive shout-out to Steph & Chris from HikenBike Shuttle for their outstanding service, warm company, and incredible generosity throughout our time in the Buller Gorge. 🚐✨

This trip was also inspired by the BANFF Outdoor Film Festival’s Radical Reels Programme, which continues to spark countless future adventures and fuel our love for the outdoors. πŸŽ₯πŸ”οΈ

This Adventurous Journey wasn’t just about kilometres walked β€” it was about resilience, leadership, teamwork, and living the Rover spirit to its fullest. Well done to the whole Patrol! 🚩πŸ”₯

This ANZAC Day, our Rovers stood in silence and solidarity at dawn services across NSW β€” from the city streets of Martin Place, to the peaceful surrounds of Woronora, and even the rugged heights of Splendour Rock in the Blue Mountains.

We gathered to honour the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who have served β€” and continue to serve β€” our country.

Congratulations to Callum on completing his Baden Powell Scout Award (BPSA) Adventurous Journey along the incredible South Coast Track in Tasmania! πŸ™Œ

Joined by an awesome teamβ€”
Campbell (1st Caringbah)
Monique The Gymea Rover Crew
Campbell Georges River Rovers and Olaves

This epic 85km trek from Melaleuca Airstrip to Cockle Creek was nothing short of extraordinary. 🌏πŸ’ͺ

From dense tropical rainforests to open plains, boggy marshlands, and endless mountain climbs, this journey tested both physical and mental endurance. πŸŒ„ The trail ranged from scenic boardwalks with breathtaking views to tight, boggy, and challenging sections requiring every ounce of patience and determination. πŸ₯ΎπŸ’₯

Rain, wind straight from Antarctica, and freezing temperatures were constant companions, but brief moments of sunshine made the adventure even sweeter. 🌦️✨

A huge thank you to Scouts Australia Dick & Pip Smith Leadership Through Adventure Fund (LTAF) for making this journey possible! Your support means the world, and we’re excited to help promote this incredible initiative by Scouts. πŸ’›

The Patrol would also like to extend their gratitude to:
