You can hear Anne Mitchell speak about Concern Australia’s Steps Outreach Service in the CBD next week! Thank you Rotary Central Melbourne for your ongoing support for this vital work:

Rotary Central Melbourne – Meeting Program - Tuesday 1 September 2026.

Rotary Central Melbourne meets at the RACV Club on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

Meeting: 7:40 am – 8:30 am
Venue: Theatrette, Chancery Level, RACV Club, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Guest Speaker: Anne Mitchell - Steps Outreach Service & Rotary Central Melbourne – 24 Years of Making a Difference.

Anne Mitchell, Manager of Steps Outreach Service, will highlight the vital work of Steps in supporting young people and families experiencing homelessness and disadvantage. She will also share success stories from the Steps Scholarship Program and acknowledge Rotary Central Melbourne’s support over more than 24 years.

Anne has worked with Steps for 24 years, providing outreach and support to young people and families experiencing homelessness. Previously, she was a primary school teacher and Welfare Coordinator and holds postgraduate qualifications in Student Welfare and Alcohol and Other Drugs.

Steps Outreach Service, the youth homelessness program of Concern Australia, has provided street outreach in Melbourne since 1985. Its workers and volunteers support young people and families experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness through both evening street outreach and ongoing daytime support.

Join us to hear how Steps is changing lives—and how Rotary Central Melbourne has helped make that work possible.
