What's it really like behind the scenes of a clinical trial?

Dr Stephanie Frade sat down with our Research Friends community to break down what most people never get to see, from study design to ethics amendments to the moments participants surprised her most.

Stephanie wears multiple hats, and one of those hats is being a person living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus herself, amongst a family of systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and coeliac disease. Because of this, Stephanie truly understands what it is like to live with a systemic autoimmune rheumatic condition, and she brings that understanding directly into how she designs her own research.

A Swiss University is conducting an anonymous international online survey to better understand the experiences, challenges, and support needs of informal caregivers of people living with systemic sclerosis.

The survey is intended for adult informal caregivers, including partners, family members, relatives, or other persons who provide unpaid support to someone living with systemic sclerosis.
