Hello All,
Just wondered if you would be interested to come on this journey with me and see if we can make a difference.
All you need to do is follow my page and give me feedback. Anything will be greatly appreciated at this stage.
The Last Straw Project is something that has been rolling around in my head for a long time.
As artists we go and visit our most vulnerable people and listen to their stories.
With their permission we take photos of their hands or feet and record their stories of how those hands got there.
This turns into a yearly exhibition and the funds go to the charity involved.
My vision is that we book out the convention centre in Brisbane, even country wide!! IMAGINE THAT
This will then (hopefully) get into some of our high school as a project focussing on social responsibility, gratefulness, kindness, problem solving and fundraising.
At this stage we are focusing on charities linked to homelessness, but DV is on the horizon.
