Just a reminder that we are open this evening from 5pm to 6.30pm 🍽️

Please note that next Monday, 8th June, we will be closed for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

We will reopen on Monday 15th June and look forward to seeing everyone then 🩷💚

Last Monday, Darryl and Fiona representing the Sunbury Business Association dropped by to meet our volunteers. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to say a huge thank you to the SBA, who raised and donated $1,000 from their International Women’s Day event 🩷

Their generosity and support means so much as it will go towards ensuring we can serve approx 125-150 meals 🙌

SNK Committee members Tess and Nat attended the opening of the Goonawarra Neighbourhood House Pantry in late April 😊

The pantry is open 24/7 and operates on the simple principle: “Give What You Can, Take What You Need.”

Perishable items can only be donated during opening hours, while dry goods can be dropped off anytime.

Another wonderful community initiative providing support for those doing it tough and helping ensure people in our community have access to essential items ❤️🙌

A huge thank you to Jane and Ian from Sunbury Macedon Ranges Trophies & Engraving for their incredibly generous donation of custom name badges for our Sunbury Neighbourhood Kitchen volunteers ❤️

These professionally made permanent name tags will give our volunteer team a more professional and welcoming look, replacing the handwritten and printed tags previously used. They will also help guests and volunteers connect more easily.

We are incredibly grateful for their support and generosity towards SNK and our volunteers 🩷💚

Monday night we celebrated Mother’s Day with our guests! Gift bags were handed out to the mums 🩷

A huge thank you to the Macedon-Woodend Scout Group for helping make the evening extra special. They came with small gifts and also helped hand out bread and groceries to our guests.

We are also incredibly grateful for the many wonderful mums within our volunteer group who give their time, care and kindness to support our community each and every week 💐🩷

We hope all the amazing mums, step mums, grandmothers, carers and those who take on the role of a mum every single day had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday 🩷💐

This evening, we will continue celebrating all the incredible mums in our community!

Join us this evening at Sunbury Neighbourhood Kitchen Inc, located at Sunbury Memorial Hall from 5pm.

A special offering will be available for our guests and volunteers to receive the flu and/or measles vaccine. Please arrive early if you’d like to receive either.
