If you wish to adopt or surrender an animal please message the page or email [email protected] All animals adopted through Adoptable Pet Rescue are desexed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to their adoption. Our adoption fees may vary depending upon the individual animal but as a guide:
- Cats over the age of 6 months are $150
- Kittens under 6 months of age are $250
- Dogs range from $400-600

Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions! Tegan, one of our amazing vet nurses has come up with names for this family which we have decided to use.

They are Japanese names
Yuki mumma
Shiro white kitten
Kuro black kitten

We have recently welcomed this beautiful little family into care – a stunning white mumma cat and her two adorable daughters. One kitten is white just like her mum, while the other is a gorgeous little black girl.

Not only are they absolutely beautiful, they are all incredibly friendly, sweet, and affectionate. From the moment they arrived, they have been purring, seeking attention, and charming everyone they meet.

MISSING CAT – TOM

Tom has gone missing from the Houston Street area of Stawell and his family is very worried about him.

This handsome tabby boy is microchipped and is greatly missed by his owner, who is hoping for his safe return home.

If you live in the Houston Street area, please check your sheds, garages, under houses, and any other places where a frightened cat may have become trapped.

If you have seen Tom or have any information that could help locate him, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can help reunite him with his family.

Just think of being so shy that it is hard to allow yourself to be loved. 💔

This is Sylvie and Silverado.

They have been with us since they were kittens, arriving so frightened of the world around them. They are not aggressive, they are not difficult — they are simply scared. Yet despite their fear, they keep trying.

When they first came into care, they hid away in their igloo and beneath their blankets, trying to disappear. Slowly, quietly, they have started stepping forward. Seeking gentle pats, soft voices, and the comfort of love.

They are still unsure, but they are incredibly loving. And they are so worth every second of patience.

This beautiful brother and sister need someone kind. Someone who understands that trust takes time and that love is not always instant cuddles. They need a person willing to sit quietly beside them and celebrate every tiny milestone along the way.

Please help us find Sylvie and Silverado the forever home they deserve before they give up on the idea that someone out there could truly love them.

Rune is on hold pending adoption.

Our handsome baby Rune had a fun day out with Pawfectly Gorgeous, our wonderful new local cat grooming business, and came home looking very dashing. Such a handsome boy.

What a fantastic experience for this long-haired kitten. Having such a positive introduction to grooming at a young age will set him up beautifully if he ever needs professional grooming in the future.

Acorn is Nyx’s sister, recently featured on our page, and she is every bit as beautiful and special. This gorgeous long-haired tabby and white girl is sweet, loving, and full of playful charm.

Acorn absolutely adores cuddles and instantly bursts into loud happy purrs the moment you pick her up. She has such a gentle, affectionate nature and loves being close to her people.

This precious girl will soon be looking for her forever home, and whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will be gaining a truly beautiful companion. 💕

We received an urgent call regarding a young mother cat and her two kittens who had been dumped on a property that was not their own.

The property belongs to an elderly gentleman and this situation was never his responsibility, but thankfully a caring friend stepped in and contacted us for help. One of the kittens has already found a home with this wonderful gentleman, who is doing the right thing and ensuring the kitten will be desexed.

Mumma cat Ginny and her remaining kitten Fred have now joined our care. They will be desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and most importantly receive the love, safety and care they deserve while with us. Once all of their vet work is complete, we will begin searching for a loving forever home for them.

Dumping animals is never the solution. Desexing your cats is. But if you find yourself with unwanted kittens, please reach out to your local rescue or pound for help. If one rescue is full, keep trying — many of us will help when we are able.

We work closely with our local pound, and when friendly animals come into their care they always do their best to find rescue placement for them. Together, we can achieve much better outcomes for these vulnerable animals.
