The September meeting is on Wednesday, 9th September at 7.30pm in the Lutheran Hall. John Tiddy will be presenting an overview of the “Back to Basics” in Photography. This should be a great refresher for new and old members.

John provided a brief overview for us –
“Our next camera club meeting is “Back to Basics!”
So what are the basics? I guess you will have to come along and find out. We can look at everything from getting a grip. No, not on yourself, but on your camera. To aperture, what it means and how to use it creatively. Shutter speed and why use one speed rather than another. ISO, if that is what it is still called and how it fits in with aperture and shutter speed. We hopefully can look at lens focal lengths and why choose one over another.
It doesn’t matter if you have a Nikon, Sony, Canon or Pentax, the principles apply to all.
So come along and let us have a discussion on “the basics.”

There will be no regular meeting for any visitors thinking of joining us next week (12th August), as we are on a member's outing to Horsham instead.

Maybe consider the September meeting instead.

July Club meeting is on Wednesday, 8th July at 7.30pm in the Lutheran Church Hall.
We will be having a presentation on Cracked Glass photography after a short meeting.

Stawell Camera Club is a friendly club and we meet monthly until December. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 7.30pm and usually in the Lutheran Hall (opposite Woolworths).

We try to have a few outings during the year, at times dependent on the weather.

Anyone interested in photography is most welcome to come and see what goes on and then think about joining this fun group.
