AGM & GENERAL ELECTIONS 2026

Grampians Multicultural Hub Inc. invites all members and interested parties to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and General Elections on:

Date: Sunday 20 September
Time: 12.00–4.00pm, lunch and entertainment included
Venue: Stawell Anglican Church Hall, 12 Scallan St.

Come along to hear about our community work over the past year, our plans for the year ahead and have your say in shaping the future of our organisation.

General Elections will also be held for the GMH Committee, for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Marketing Officer and four General Members.

🎉 Happy 46th Independence Anniversary Vanuatu! 🇻🇺

We extend our warmest congratulations to the people of Vanuatu and give a heartfelt thank you to the Ni-Van community in Stawell for the kind invitation to join their celebration.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious cultural dishes and warm hospitality.

Congratulations and may your future continue to be filled with peace and prosperity. ❤️💚💛

A huge thank you to the Stawell Community Garden for inviting and hosting a lovely Winter Solstice celebration last Sunday!

Despite the cooler weather, spirits were high, with 18 members of the Grampians Multicultural Hub joining the festivities alongside the community garden members and friends.

The afternoon was filled with homemade pizzas fresh from the wood-fired ovens, sweet treats and plenty of friendly conversations. It was fantastic to see so many people coming together to connect, share stories and celebrate community.

A wonderful story was shared by Cr Jenny Greenberger and the Vanuatu Community's Junior Issachar, who reflected on their involvement in establishing the garden back in about 2022 and the early efforts that helped bring the space to life.

Events like these remind us of the importance of bringing people together, especially during the colder months. Thank you again to the Stawell Community Garden for your warm hospitality and for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable event.

Special thanks to Jane Nicholls and Helga Saunders for your tireless work.

We look forward to many more opportunities to connect and celebrate together!

It is great to see such a positive interaction with our local police! 🙌🏽🧡

🏐 Last weekend while patrolling, Members of the Stawell Police noticed something happening at North Park. A game of Volleyball! 🏐

Thanks to the Stawell Vanuatu Community for teaching police to play and cheering on our... questionable skills. 🤣
