Grampians Multicultural Hub

Grampians Multicultural Hub "Creating intercultural connections through celebration, learning and advocacy" We facilitate intercultural connections in the Grampians region. What we do.

Our aim is to bring the Grampians multicultural community together by creating events and gatherings where people can share and learn cultures from one another. Grampians Multicultural HUB is a group formed by volunteer people living in the Grampians Region in Victoria Australia. We organise events, gathering and celebrations. We engage and collaborate with local businesses.

β€’ This initiative is linked with Council's Multicultural Action Plan, which celebrates our community's diversity and ensures that Northern Grampians Shire remains a welcoming place where all cultures are respected, celebrated, and where everyone feels included and valued.

Cathy Freeman is back at Central Park 30 years after her historic win in the 400m in 1996. We are delighted to have Cathy back and she will be presenting the winner of the Fiji Airways Lorraine Donnan Women’s Handicap 400m on Monday.

The subject of a new book by David Griffin - "That Race" - was launched tonight in Stawell. Together with two of the other runners in that race - Kim McDonough and Jackie Chehade (famous for the great collide with Cathy), the women recalled the race which Cathy rates as one of her top two of all time. They are all clearly great friends three decades later.
