Back to school… and back to the GREEN ROOM!
After a fun fortnight of school holiday shenanigans at the new home of the GREEN ROOM, we are thrilled to kick off our weekly youth program starting this Thursday.

Join your local Rural Health team each Thursday during the school term 3pm-4:30pm for youth focussed hangouts, games, creativity, community, munchies and chillout.

EVERY Thursday 3pm -4:30pm, 11-17 year olds welcome at 1b Henry Street, Sheffield (parents and carers also welcomed to explore the new space).

With the HIPPY program recently undergoing a national review, review findings aligned very tightly with our observations and learnings from program delivery, highlighting that it is a highly impactful and valuable program. Findings were very positive, demonstrating the value of the work HIPPY staff do with parents, children, families and communities (including RHT HIPPY Team's work in Circular Head, Burnie and the West Coast). Well done to all deliverers of HIPPY across our state and beyond.

The Green Room has landed at its NEW home at 1b Henry St, Sheffield …so come and explore!

The Green Room is a new designated space for Kentish youth
(11-17 yr olds) and will be open 1:30pm - 3pm Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th, and Thursday 15th to explore this week.

Games, sport, music, geocaching and craft will be on offer as we develop the new space and create something that our local youth are actively designing and owning.

Parents and carers are also invited to drop-in and explore the space and meet the Rural Health Tasmania team facilitating the program.

Drop in to explore our local health hub and the new youth GREEN ROOM space, get tips on local supports, free resources and have a chat with RU OK members and your local Kentish Rural Health Tasmania team.

The BBQ will be firing up 1200-130pm at the KENTISH HEALTH HUB - 1b Henry Street, Sheffield (behind the Mural Park).
