📚 Meet Our Living Books! 📚
Our Living Library is coming together, and we’re excited to introduce some of the wonderful people who will be sharing their stories, experiences and knowledge.
Unlike a traditional library, the books are people! ❤️ Choose a Living Book whose story interests you, sit down together for a relaxed 10–15 minute conversation, ask questions, listen and discover a different perspective.
✨ And you don’t have to choose just one!
During the afternoon, you can choose more than one Living Book and enjoy several different conversations and stories.
From lifelong learning and local history to Papua New Guinea, community development in Uganda, careers, travel, crafts and stories from a life well lived — there will be plenty to discover.
📖 It’s also not too late to become a Living Book!
If you have a story, experience, passion, career or part of your life that you’d be happy to chat about with others, please contact us. You don’t need to be a public speaker — just willing to have a friendly one-on-one conversation and share your story.

🍂 What’s On at Cornerstone Community Lounge this September! 🍂

September is shaping up to be a wonderful month of connection, creativity, entertainment and community. 💛
We are excited to be a part of the CHArts festival, make sure to head over to the page and see what other events are happening in the community.

There’s plenty happening throughout the month, including:

🎶 Cradle Coast orchestra – Sunday 6th at 2pm (in the auditorium) $10 entry at the door
🎨 Adult Colouring Workshops – Tuesdays 8th & 22nd, 10am–12pm

Community Potluck Dinner – Everyone’s Welcome! 🍽️

Gather the girls and join us for a relaxed evening of great food, good company and a feel-good movie at Cornerstone Community Lounge.
We'll enjoy dinner together before settling in to watch the heartwarming and inspiring film Calendar Girls.

Have you ever wanted to hear someone's life story, ask thoughtful questions, or see the world through someone else's eyes?
Join us for our Living Library, where people become the "books." Instead of borrowing a novel, you'll have the opportunity to sit down for meaningful conversations with multiple Living Books, each sharing their own unique experiences, challenges, passions, and journey.
This is a welcoming, relaxed event designed to foster understanding, build connections, and celebrate the diversity of stories within our community.
