School attendance matters — and support is available for families.

In this Mandarin video, GVCA representative Jimmy chats with Jenni from the Department of Education to find out more about the importance of regular school attendance, as well as the education resources and support available for families in the Goulburn Valley region.

We encourage Chinese-speaking parents, carers and community members to watch and share this video. Regular attendance helps children build learning habits, friendships, confidence and a stronger future.

Join GVCA for our June Community Lunch as we celebrate the spirit of the Duanwu Festival with good food, great company, and community connection.

This relaxed gathering will be held at Sabai Sabai and is open to everyone, whether you're new to the region or have called the Goulburn Valley home for many years.

The lunch package is normally $18 per person, but thanks to a GVCA subsidy, participants only pay:

GVCA 初秋小聚 🍂 圆满结束 GVCA Early Autumn Lunch 🍂

周六的初秋小聚顺利举行，共有 30+ 位朋友参加，现场气氛轻松又热闹 😊大家一边享用美食，一边聊天交流，有老朋友的重逢，也有新朋友的认识，就是我们最想看到的那种刚刚好的社区感觉。

🎤 Friday Night Karaoke at GVCA | 周五K歌之夜 🎶

Great to be at One FM Station, for a relaxed and joyful Friday night with the community! Huge thank you to Goulburn Valley's ONE FM for having us!

The Goulburn Valley Chinese Association (GVCA) 高賓華人會 was thrilled to host a casual karaoke evening bringing people together through music, laughter, and connection. From classic Mandarin hits to English favourites, the room was full of energy, voices, and good vibes all around.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the night so special. We look forward to more nights like this soon!
