What a fantastic and busy day, we had yesterday.

With over 40 members in attendance, we conducted The Biggest Morning Tea, had Raffles, the family of longtime member Annemarie Campbell (who sadly passed away earlier this year) visiting, 2 destash stalls, show n tell and a very informative Ruler Quilting Demonstration by member Imelda Daly.

The winner of the main raffle prize, which was kindly donated by Annemarie’s family was Vicki.

Big thanks to everyone that contributed to make the day so special.

All proceeds from the day are being donated to the Cancer Council

Remember Saturday 4th July is our Quilt in and AGM. Pop up shop will be Patchwork Maze and we will have a Trunk Show of Award Winning Quilts, from the Victorian Quilters Travelling Suitcase

Exciting news…..
To make life easier, for our Club’s Treasurer, we (Phillip island Patchworkers) applied for a Smarty Grant, from the Bass Coast Shire Council, for a laptop, printer, keyboard and mouse.

The grant was approved and Phillip Island Patchworkers, is now the proud owner of a new Laptop, Printer, keyboard and mouse and of course a very happy Treasurer

What a lovely day today, at the March Sit ‘n Sew, with 38 members in attendance.
It was busy day with new members, a casual “pop up” Sue Spargo workshop (thanks G*i, Tanya and Jacki) and a couple of our “Beginners” having a catch up lesson with Marj.

What a great start to the year, at our Welcome Back Quilt In. It was wonderful to see so many members in attendance, enjoying the day and celebrating 3 members “Big O” birthdays

We were fortunate to have the lovely Kim, from Bearessence Pakenham, as our guest. Kim presented an inspiring Trunk Show of Sue Spargo quilts and had a Pop Up shop
