We said a final farewell to Carol Fisher today. Carol kindly came out of retirement a year ago to help us out & today closed that chapter. Carol was the inaugural winner of our Christine Cox trailblazer award (back in her Assumption College days) and has been a trail blazer ever since. Carol we wish you all the very best for your retirement and can’t thank you enough for all the work you have done for young people in our local community. We will miss you. Thank you 🙏 Enjoy.

We were so proud to see Janoel take to the stage at the VETDSS Summit 2026, presenting on the incredible work that Project Ready does to support young people navigating their pathways from school into work and further study.
CRLLEN was also well represented on the day with Wayne in attendance, and it was wonderful to connect with so many passionate colleagues from across the VET sector.

It was terrific to have our team together today to do some planning for the rest of the year. We also celebrated Vicki’s birthday 🎈. We might also have had a little visitor helping us put together some packs for next weeks career week activities. Thx Isla.

It’s been a busy start to our week, with a tour to Koala Cherries for our VCE/VM students from Alexandra Secondary College. A huge thanks to Vicki and the team for taking our students through all of the different processes in harvesting cherries. Having been affected by the bushfires this year it was terrific to see the work and effort being put back into helping them recover. We so appreciate your time and efforts. The students certainly loved the delicious cherry 🍒 juice they received at the end of the tour.
