Available tomorrow, semi-advanced Backhousia myrtifolia, The Grey Myrtle 🌿

This is a great one if you’re after a native screen, or feature plant.

In the wild they can eventually (and very slowly) reach up to 30 metres, but in the Garden, with an annual prune they can be kept to a really nice, manageable size and make a beautiful dense screen.

The foliage also has a lovely lemony, spicy smell and can be used as a native bush food flavouring. The flowers attract insects and other wildlife, while the dense foliage provides good habitat and shelter.

We will have this species, in 200mm, plus many more species in tubestock available tomorrow, 9am - 1pm, Friday 18th of September 🌱

🌱Maintain nursery spaces, ensuring they are safe, organised, and ready for community activities.

The lovely Pultenaea daphnoides, is flowering now at the TIN Nursery! 💛

This beautiful, upright shrub grows to around 2–3m high and 1m wide, making it a great choice for a feature plant or small screen.

☀️ Happy in full sun to dappled shade
🌱 Prefers well drained soil, but isn’t too fussy
🪴 Can even be grown successfully in pots
🐝Great for Pollinators

Transitioning exotic grasses to native habitat can be challenging! There are many methods that work for different situations. But for this job at Cooranbong our bush regeneration team has been on the brushcutters. Great to see the crew rocking the safety gear and look at that beautiful blue-sky winter day.
