Join us in making sure everyone in NSW can access a suitable home, and the services that support them can continue to do so. On Friday we celebrated the official launch of and the Support to Keep It — it was a powerful coming together of the homelessness sector, united for change.

Every day, 59 people are turned away from services, 68,000 households wait for social housing, and 700,000 people in NSW are at risk of homelessness.

We must move from crisis to prevention. With proper funding, better support for services, and more social homes. These solutions give people dignity, stability, and the chance to thrive.

Join the movement and call on the NSW Government for action, sign the petition here: https://homelessnessnsw.org.au/aplacetocallhome/get-involved/sign-the-petition/

Thank you to all our wonderful speakers and all the attendees who brought their passion and voices to the room! We can't wait to take this campaign further in the new year.

We’re excited to launch A Place to Call Home – our new campaign to make sure everyone in NSW has the safety and stability of a home.

Right now, too many people are being turned away from services and left without suitable housing. Services are stretched to the limit – but together, we can change that.

This campaign will:
🏠 Shine a spotlight on the housing crisis
💡 Push for real solutions like properly funded services and more social housing

Our first step? We’re travelling across NSW to hold collaborative campaign workshops with the sector, and we want to hear from you!
➡️ Share ideas and experiences
➡️ Plan how to influence politicians and decision-makers in each community

Your voices will be at the forefront of everything we do, because this change cannot happen without you. So join us in fighting for bold, systemic change for those experiencing homelessness and the services working tirelessly to end it.

Last week, our CEO Dom Rowe travelled across the Northern Rivers, visiting services that embody compassion, community, and courage in the face of housing crisis.
From Lismore to Tweed, we met incredible frontline workers and volunteers delivering life changing support and safety to those without a home.
🏡 The Winsome – A beautiful example of what’s possible when community wraps around people in need. Soup kitchen, doctors, beds..
🏠 Sorley Street by Social Futures – 70-bed supported accommodation for older people and people with disability. A place of calm and dignity, where cooking a first meal in a real kitchen marks a new beginning.
🏠Momentum Collective – Supporting people doing it tough with wraparound support, practical help, and genuine care across the Northern Rivers.
Every one of these services is a reminder that real housing solutions come from community-led, trauma-informed, culturally safe approaches and they need to be funded and expanded, not left to run on love alone.

Thank you to all the teams who shared their stories and work with us. Swipe through to see all the services we visited!
