Today marks the beginning of Homelessness Week.

Across NSW, homelessness services are supporting people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. They are building trust, providing stability, advocating for better outcomes, and helping people not only find housing, but keep it.

Too often, this work happens quietly. But it changes lives every single day.

To mark the start of Homelessness Week, we're proud to launch our new campaign video, The Support to Keep It.

Featuring the voices of people with lived experience of homelessness, and those that have supported them through it, the film explores the difference that ongoing support makes once someone has a place to call home. Their stories remind us that ending homelessness isn't just about housing, it's about ensuring people have the support they need to stay housed, rebuild their lives and thrive.

To everyone working across the homelessness sector: thank you. Your compassion, persistence and commitment make a lasting difference, often in incredibly challenging circumstances.

We hope this film leaves you feeling proud of the work you do and why it matters.

We're just three weeks away from the NSW launch of Homelessness Week. If you haven't registered yet, now is the time!

This year, we're bringing together leaders from across housing, homelessness and community services to explore one critical question:
How do we move beyond crisis and create a homelessness system that prevents homelessness before it occurs?

Across NSW, homelessness services, frontline workers and communities are uniting to call for change.

We are asking the NSW Government to take urgent action on homelessness by investing in social housing and strengthening homelessness services so people can access support earlier and avoid long-term homelessness.

We need your help to build momentum. Our A Place to Call Home petition will be presented to Parliament, and every signature helps demonstrate the strength of community backing for action.

Homelessness NSW A Place to Call Home Campaign.
Join us in making sure everyone in NSW can access a suitable home, and the services that support them can continue to do so. NSW Government needs to invest properly in homelessness services, because everyday they are struggling to meet demand. And everyday people are turned away at their most vulnerable, with nowhere to go. Sign our petition and join the campaign across NSW.
