For too many LGBTQIA+ young Australians, university feels like a world that was not built for them.

One of our current scholars has this message: ‘All I knew about being gay was that it meant I was different and did not belong.

As someone who never thought they could belong to a community, Pinnacle gave me a feeling I hadn’t felt before: real belonging’.

As well as scholarship funds to help you with the costs of study, you will be matched with a mentor who will support you through your education journey. You will also be invited to Pinnacle events and networking opportunities.

A heartfelt thank you to Hall & Wilcox, our gold partner, for hosting our End of Financial Year event in Perth last week.

A special thank you to Rosemary Roach for warmly welcoming our guests, to Ruby Hunt for helping make the event possible, and to Talia Pieri for coordinating everything so seamlessly behind the scenes. It was a pleasure to work together.

We are also incredibly grateful to Hon Hannah Beazley for joining us and sharing a few words on the evening.

Thank you to all our guests, volunteers, partners, supporters, and friends who attended. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the strength of our community and the collective impact we can have when we come together.

We are so grateful for our Perth community and for the ongoing support of Hall & Wilcox in helping The Pinnacle Foundation create brighter futures for LGBTQIA+ young people.

A heartfelt thank you to our gold partner KPMG for hosting our End of Financial Year event in Hobart earlier this month.

We are especially grateful to Heather Hicks for warmly welcoming our guests, to Mat Higgs for helping make the event possible by connecting us with the Hobart team, and to Carmen van den Berg, who was an absolute pleasure to work with and coordinated the event so thoughtfully from start to finish.

Thank you also to the volunteers, guests, and supporters who joined us on the evening. Events like these are only possible because of the generosity, commitment, and community spirit of so many people.

A huge thank you to our gold partner KPMG for hosting our EOFY Trivia event in Canberra last night.

We are especially grateful to Andrew Spong for so warmly welcoming our guests, and to Laren Gray for making everything so easy and seamless in the lead-up and on the night.

Last week in Sydney, we were honoured to celebrate our EOFY event with our incredible community of partners, scholars, alumni, volunteers and supporters.

A heartfelt thank you to our gold partner, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), for hosting us so generously and making the evening possible. We are especially grateful to Jack Crane for bringing the event together and warmly welcoming our guests.

Thank you also to Alan Wong for speaking on the importance of inclusion and sharing thoughtful reflections that resonated deeply with everyone in the room.

A special thank you to our scholar speaker, who shared their story with such clarity and courage - a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

We are also deeply grateful to all the volunteers who supported the evening, and to every guest who joined us and contributed to such a warm and meaningful celebration.

Thank you to our gold partner, L'Oréal for hosting our EOFY event in Melbourne last Wednesday.

Guests enjoyed an inspiring reflection on confidence and identity from Pinnacle alum and L'Oréal employee Tavonga Nzenza-Grant, as well as a fascinating fragrance masterclass from Blake Harrison.

A heartfelt thank you to Samantha Cameron for making this event happen once again, and to Alex Davison for warmly welcoming our guests.

We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to help make the evening such a success.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who joined us. We are so grateful for the support of our partners, volunteers and community as we continue to empower LGBTQIA+ young people to realise their full potential.

Pinnacle provides multi-year scholarship to assist with the costs of studying full-time at a public Australian university or TAFE. Applications open in 1 month!
