🧁Busy Bees Playgroup-Last Day of Term Fun! 🧁

We finished the term with a sweet cupcake theme today and had a lovely morning together.

For our craft, the children made their own cupcakes by gluing all the pieces together and decorating them with lots of creativity. We also used playdough to make delicious pretend cupcakes and enjoyed designing cupcakes on our felt board using colourful felt pieces.

There was plenty of fun with the ball pit, cars, and free play, while our song for the day was I'm a Little Teapot, which tied in perfectly with our cupcake theme.

Our story was about a shopping trip, finding all the things we needed along the way… including cupcakes!🧁

And to make our last day even more special, we enjoyed real cupcakes at morning tea as a tasty end-of-term treat.

Thank you to all our Busy Bees families for another wonderful term. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday break. I can't wait to see you all again next term! 🐝💛

🐝 We had such a fun and exciting morning at Busy Bees today.

The children made their very own Humpty Dumptys! choosing the egg, eyes, ears, mouth, hands and feet, then building him up on the wall. Lots of creative (and very cute!) Humptys appeared.

We sang Humpty Dumpty for our song, and our book was a lovely story all about meeting and playing with friends at playgroup.

Playtime was full of energy today. We made yummy cupcakes with playdough, cooked in the kitchen, zoomed around with cars, and headed outside for the big cars, sandpit, and playground.

We also built with construction blocks, played quoits, and even had a few rounds of The Floor Is Lava-lots of laughs and big jumps and fun challenges!

It was a great, fun, exciting day from start to finish. 🐝💛

🧸We had a very quiet day today! But sometimes quiet is ok, its nice to sit and chat,

The parents had a great time making teddy headband ears for our Teddy Bear themed day! 🐻🤭 The kids played with cars, did climbing and even some cooking 🍳 for Mum! We cut out playdough bears and enjoyed changing our bears outfit with the bear puzzle! 🧩

We enjoyed morning tea and singing some bear songs 🎵

It was a lovely morning. Hope to see you all next week! ❤️

🐝We had a fun and creative morning at Busy Bees today.

The children made rocket ship cards that said "I love you to the moon and back" and trophies for their Father’s Day cards- with lots of colour, shapes and stickers

Inside play kept everyone busy and happy. We made pizza with playdough, zoomed cars around the room, and had plenty of fun in the ball pit. Plus big cars and running around outside.

One of our favourite activities today was the magnetic dress‑up dolls mixing and matching outfits and accessories!

Our book today was "Why I Love My Daddy", which was such a lovely book leading into Father’s Day.

It was a simple, cosy day with creativity, colour, and happy play. 💛 🐝

🐝We had a quiet..but really lovely morning at Busy Bees today. 🤗

We stayed inside chilling out and talking where it was warm, the kids spent time doing threading, dressing up the dolls, and lots of imaginative play in the kitchen. 👩‍🍳🍽

The room looked so bright and colourful with balloons floating around and the children tossing them up into the air. 🎈

Our ball pit, trucks, and cars kept everyone busy and happy during our playtime. It was a simple and calm day today. 😊 check out the colourful photos. 😆 👇👇

🐝 We had a fun and creative morning at Busy Bees today. Our craft was decorating horses with crayons, colourful tape and stickers, and then turning them into little carousel horses. 🎠

The children decorated their cups, placed their horses on straws, and popped them through the hole in the top to make their own merry‑go‑round creations.

Because it was cold this morning, most of our play was indoors. We worked together on an animal floor puzzle, finding pieces and building it as a team. We also played with balloons, the ball pit, cooked in the kitchen and with all our favourite trucks and cars.

It was a fun day full of colour, teamwork, and lots of happy little moments. 🐝💛

Hope you all have a lovely week!. 😊

🐝We had a lovely, quiet morning at Busy Bees today. Our craft was making birds, the children glued on eyes, beaks, and lots of colourful feathers to create their bright paper‑plate birds. 🐦🦜

We played with balls and balloons and practised our colours, including a fun matching game with coloured hats on the penguins.

Because it was quite cold this morning, most of our play was indoors, the kitchen, ball pit, and cars kept everyone busy and happy.

Our song today was Everybody Clap, and our book was a fun zoo story where the animals were hiding as objects, the children had to guess which animal it was each time. Lots of great guesses.

It was a nice, gentle day with plenty of creativity, colour practice, and smiles. 🐝🤗

Hope you all have a lovely week. 🙂

🐑We had such a lovely day at Busy Bees today. Our craft was making sheep 🐑 The children glued on the head and legs, then used white water paint and brushes to dot on their fluffy wool. Lots of cute, creative sheep.

Our playdough was full of farm fun with animals and we had plenty of laughs with the animal masks too.

Inside play was busy with the kitchen, cars, and ball pit, and we also spent time outside on the soft play, slide, sandpit, and even throwing the ball into the hoop.

Our song today was Old McDonald Had a Farm, and the children helped by holding the animal puppets and making all the noises, lots of giggles and very enthusiastic mooing and baa‑ing.

It was a great day! full of fun, imagination, and happy little busy bees! 🐝

🐝We had a lovely morning together today with our fish theme 🐟

The children enjoyed creating colourful fish by gluing and sticking scales onto their paper fish, creating bright, colourful designs.

Our playdough table had ocean fun with fish and sea‑themed cutters… and of course, true Busy Bees style, one little artist made a dinosaur instead.

With the cold and windy weather, most of our play was inside today with the kitchen, cars, and ball pit keeping eveyone busy!

We sang “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Once I Caught a Fish Alive” and, even though we didn’t have a fish book, we enjoyed a story about a duck who loved to quack.

Thanks for a quiet, sweet morning! Enjoy your week ❤️ 🤗
