Busy Bees Playgroup Clown Craft & Fun! 🤡

We had a bright and cheerful clown‑themed morning at Busy Bees today. For our craft, the children made their own clowns using paper plates, pom poms, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners — lots of colour, creativity, and very cute clown faces.

Inside, we played with playdough and made pretend cupcakes, enjoyed the cars and tool bench, and had plenty of fun in the ball pit and chased some balloons around. We even tried juggling with some balls!

Even though it was cold and overcast, we managed a short play outside with the cars and sandpit-a perfect chance to get some fresh air while it stayed dry.

We also read Spot Goes to the Circus, which tied in beautifully with our clown theme.

🐝Busy Bees Playgroup! 🩷💚 Pink & Green Fun! 🙂

We had a lovely morning at Busy Bees today exploring pink and green. For our craft, the children enjoyed textured painting using mashers and sponges with pink and green paint, and lots of rolling, squishing, and imaginative creations with our matching playdough.

We sang “Three little Speckled Frogs” and read a counting book about farm animals where we enjoyed making all the noises and counting along. 🐄🦆🐈🐕🐁🐦‍⬛

The children also enjoyed free play with cars, had plenty of fun in the ball pit, and it was a lovely morning to spend some time outdoors aswell in the sandpit. 🤗

🐝We had a very quiet little session at Busy Bees today with just a few children, but it made for such a calm and lovely morning together. The children made beautiful Mother’s Day cards, spent time reading books, and enjoyed lots of relaxed free play. 📚

It was a bit chilly outside 🥶. So we only had a short play in the fresh air before heading back in to stay warm.

Wishing all our wonderful mums, grandmothers, and special carers a very Happy Mother’s Day for Sunday 🌸🏵🌹

We hope you feel celebrated, appreciated, and loved.

🐝We had a fun and creative morning at Busy Bees today. For our craft, the children decorated and made their own little bodies, adding faces, clothes, and lots of personality.

We sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”, and our story Who's Nose? Who’s Toes? had the children guessing which animal each nose and set of toes belonged to!

We explored playdough and threading, and outside we enjoyed hoopla hoops, musical instruments, Duplo, cars, free play, and plenty of time in the sandpit and our fun slide, even the parents joined in. 🛝🤗😄

🐝Busy Bees Playgroup-First Day Back for Term 2!

We had such a lovely start to Term 2 at Busy Bees today. For our craft, the children made beautiful poppies by gluing red love hearts together, and they enjoyed exploring red and green playdough planting little poppies in the “grass” to create a poppy garden.

We had bubbles,colouring, puzzles, and plenty of free play in the beautiful sunshine. Our new ball‑pit tent was also very exciting.

A big thank‑you to the parent who brought in a special morning tea to celebrate her child’s birthday, such a thoughtful treat and very appreciated.

It was a wonderful way to begin the term, and we’re excited for all the fun ahead. 🤗 Have a lovely week everyone! ❤️

🐰 Busy Bees Playgroup-Last Day of Term ✨️Easter Fun✨️

We had such a lovely final session for the term with our Easter‑themed morning at Busy Bees. The children enjoyed stamping and decorating to make colourful Easter eggs, and our bunny masks were so super cute! 🐰

We explored playdough, found some eggs hiding outside and spent time drawing with chalk. The bikes, playground, and free play kept everyone busy and happy.

We also sang “Mr Peter Rabbit”, and our story today was When I’m Feeling Kind! A beautiful way to finish the term with gentle messages about kindness.

A special thank‑you to the lovely grandparent who brought in hot cross buns for everyone, such a thoughtful treat and very appreciated. 😇

Thank you to all our Busy Bees families for a wonderful term. Ive enjoyed getting to know you all over the last 10 weeks.😊

Wishing you a happy Easter weekend and a relaxing holiday break. We look forward to seeing you all again next term. 🤗

We had a wonderful morning diving into our ocean theme at Busy Bees today. Our craft was making colourful jellyfish,the children glued on crepe‑paper tentacles and added googly eyes to bring them to life. 🪼

We explored lots of sea‑themed activities, including fish threading and “fishing” for sea creatures hidden in the mesh seaweed 🐟 There was plenty of creative fun with playdough, and the tool bench was a big hit too. 🛠

A tape train track wound its way around the room and the children loved following it with cars and trains🚃 Outside, we enjoyed sandpit play, bikes, and cars in the sunshine. 🌞

Our song today was Row, Row, Row Your Boat, and our story was a fun under‑the‑sea search, finding the scuba diver hiding among the pages. 🚣‍♂️

Thanks to all our little ocean explorers and their grown‑ups for another lovely morning together. 🤗❤️
