Stronger Together

13/10/2026

🩵 This OCD Awareness Week, let’s make a little more room for understanding, kindness and compassion.

Let’s be gentle with one another, challenge the assumptions we make, and remember that everyone deserves to feel understood and supported. 🤍

More understanding, less judgement. Together, we can make a difference.

A simple conversation can make a world of difference. 💛 Today is a reminder to check in with the people around us, not just today, but every day. Ask the question, listen with care, and be there.

R U OK?

Last week we were able to use creative arts therapy as a means of coming together, finding moments of calm and healing following the devastating events in Nepal.

CANVASTORY aided in allowing us to escape from doomscrolling and exposing ourselves to distressing content by allowing us to slow down, connect with one another or simply focus on our painting.

Our paint by numbers segment also served as a gentle reminder that patience is an important part of sometimes seeing the bigger and complete picture.

Those who weren’t able to complete it, we hope taking them home gives you the opportunity to continue engaging with creative arts in your own time and at your own pace.

We would like to thank Nepali Association of Western Australia NAWA Inc. for providing us with the venue and Navin Bhandari uncle for your kind personal donation towards the event. We really appreciate it🌼

DM us your complete painting when finished!

❤️

PTSD and CPTSD have a lot in common.
But they’re not the same experience.

PTSD is often linked to a specific event.
CPTSD is usually rooted in long-term, repeated trauma.

PTSD may come with memories of a “before.”
CPTSD often means the trauma was part of your foundation.

Both can include:
flashbacks
avoidance
hypervigilance
emotional overwhelm

Different paths.
Real impact.
Both deserve understanding, support, and care.

One of our community members is supporting an initiative helping those affected by the flood in Nepal.

🇳🇵 Small help, big hope for Nepal 🇳🇵

We all know that in Australia, there is a system where you can get up to 10 cents for recycling empty cans and bottles. I am currently in Perth, Western Australia and would like to take a small initiative to help Nepal during this difficult time.

If you would like to donate the empty cans and bottles that you have collected at your home, please contact me. I will come to your home and collect them as much as possible. Also, if you are nearby and want to bring them yourself, I would be very grateful.

The money received from the collected cans and bottles will be deposited in the official support account provided by the Government of Nepal.

Even small support means a lot to the nation today. 🙏🇳🇵

Come on, let's join hands and help Nepal wherever and however we can. ❤️🇳🇵
