NEIGHBOUR HELPS ELDERLY RESIDENTS | Late last year, Neighbour in Need visited a lovely lady who generously donated a big box of hand-knitted beanies and mittens, asking if we knew of anyone who could use them.
In a beautiful example of community caring for community, an opportunity opened up for Shirley, one of our wonderful NiN volunteers, to deliver the items to a Church of Christ Nursing Home.
The residents and staff were absolutely delighted! One resident especially loved her new beanie and kept saying, "Thank you!" with the biggest smile on her face.
It's moments like these that remind us how kindness can travel from one person to another, bringing joy along the way.
As the Bible says, "See how good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in harmony." How true that is!

Pastor Rusi and his team were hard at work again, serving with generous hearts and willing hands. They were able to bless a lovely lady who needed help moving household items from upstairs, making a big job much more manageable.
