Palmwoods Community Kindergarten

Hello Community!

Hands up who feels like a night off from cooking and washing up???

For the month of November, Grilled Maroochydore (Sunshine Plaza)
will have a ‘Palmwoods Kindy’ jar that you can pop your token in to help raise money for the kindy to purchase some new resources!

How cool is that? Sounds like a good excuse for a burger!

Be sure to share with your friends and fam incase they too need an excuse to treat themselves! (Their sweet potato chips and that herb mayo 😋)

Today our team came together to celebrate a milestone.

This year marks 20 years as an Educator at Palmwoods Kindy for Kelly and we are so grateful for all that she is.

Her natural affinity and passion for working with young children…
Her thoughtfulness and support…Her professionalism.

She is an absolute asset to our service and we feel grateful to be working alongside her everyday.

Kelly - We love you and we thank you 🙏🏽

(Cake by Bake Society and thank you to Palmwoods Florist for a beautiful bouquet)

The books we choose to share with children matter.

This Book Week, discover why books matter.

Book-rich homes have a lifelong impact on a child, helping to build literacy, numeracy and communication skills, encourage reading for pleasure, and support long-term opportunity.

And when children have access to books that reflect their interests, identities and experiences, they’re more likely to engage with reading. ✨

Fabulous cause to support. Especially this week - being BookWeek!
Let’s celebrate the joy of reading with our little people.
Books can take us on the most exciting journeys to places we haven’t yet been, they open our eyes to other worlds and they stretch our imagination.
They introduce us to new possibilities, new language, new ideas and provide an opportunity to have deep conversations. As we read, we delve into our own assumptions, beliefs and values and consider those of others.
In a world that is increasingly polarised and divided, we want our little people to share the values that Dolly inspired - kindness, compassion, curiosity and hopefulness!
Put your support behind the Imagination Library at Nambour Community Centre.
