Hi everyone
We are asking you to sign and share the petition calling for sustainable core funding for every Neighbourhood and Community Centre in NSW. NSW is one of the last states in Australia not to support Neighbourhood and Community Centres through realistic core funding.
Our Neighbourhood Centres receive program funding to deliver services — but nothing to cover the staffing and operating costs that keep our doors open. Without core funding, managers stretch every dollar just to keep the lights on, leaving less time and capacity for the community-strengthening work we do best.
Neighbourhood and Community Centres are the essential social infrastructure of NSW - the places that hold communities together. The NSW Government has recognised that; now it's time they funded it.
