DONATION ALERT - On Saturday evening Lodge Nowra Unity #60, with the assistance of Masonicare, donated a massive $20,002.00 to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. This was presented by LNU members at the Region 3 Gala Dinner at the Sydney Masonic Centre. This is the biggest donation every made by Lodge Nowra Unity - what an effort!! Thanks to The Bomaderry Hotel for allowing the Nowra Freemasons to continue raising money at the weekly Friday night schooner draw and meat raffle.

Freemasons Nowra Lodge Unity 60 was established through the consolidation of Lodge Abercorn No. 60 and Lodge Shoalhaven, a decision finalised in early 2005 to unify the Craft in the Nowra area. The new lodge retained the number of Lodge Abercorn— the oldest in the region, dating back to 1878
-and was officially consecrated on April 30, 2005, by Grand Master Anthony Lauer. This union honours a deep local history that includes the 1890 laying of the Nowra Masonic Temple's foundation stone, effectively continuing a legacy of community service and tradition that has spanned well over a century.
