North Lakes parkrun

North Lakes parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Lake Eden, North Lakes. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one. There are now 170+ events around the world with more than 15,000 runners participating every Saturday morning. The parkrun record is 14:00 set by Craig Mottram on 10 June, 2006. Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.

**REMINDER - NO EVENT TOMORROW**

Hi folks! Just a reminder that there is no parkrun at North Lakes tomorrow - as our start/finish area is being used for an event. We'll be back on deck again next week (12 September).

Take the opportunity to visit one of our neighbouring parkruns, or maybe even enjoy a sleep in.... whatever that is!
