A sincere thank you to Uncle Dennis and his lovely wife Rose for taking the time to join us at our Warm Meals program.

Your presence was a great encouragement to our team and a meaningful demonstration of support for UCX and the young people we serve. Having community members stand alongside us reinforces the importance of the work being done and reminds our volunteers that their efforts are valued.

We would also like to thank everyone who continues to generously give their time to serve the youth in our communities. Your commitment, compassion, and willingness to show up make a lasting impact in the lives of those we support.

Unconditional ConneXtion Ltd and Jarramali Rock Art Tours are proud to announce a new partnership to deliver a culturally grounded On Country Early Intervention & Diversion program supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people who are involved in, or at risk of entering, the youth justice system.

Led by Jonny Murison, a respected Kuku Yalanji man from the Cape York Peninsula, the program provides a culturally safe and immersive environment where young people can strengthen their identity, reconnect with country, and engage in traditional knowledge and practices.

Through On Country learning and cultural guidance, participants are supported to build accountability, enhance wellbeing, and develop positive life direction. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to community led solutions that promote healing, connection, responsibility, and long-term change for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander youth.

The program operates on the understanding that incarceration alone does not heal, and that genuine pathways away from offending are created when young people are supported to reconnect with who they are and where they belong.
