Successful volunteering starts with the right match. When a volunteer’s skills, interests and availability align with a role, the experience is more rewarding for the volunteer and more effective for the organisation they support.

At Volunteering Central Coast, we take a considered and informed approach to volunteer recruitment. Our experienced recruitment staff spend time getting to know potential volunteers, including their motivations, strengths, capacity and preferences. This allows us to thoughtfully refer volunteers to roles where they are more likely to feel confident, supported and engaged.

Careful matching helps organisations welcome volunteers who are well-suited to their roles and ready to contribute. It also supports positive volunteering experiences, stronger engagement and more sustainable outcomes for the community.

To find a volunteer role that’s the right fit for you, call us on 02 4329 7122 or email [email protected]

πŸ“° We're on the front page of Central Coast Newspapers!

Read about the proposed government funding changes to the volunteering sector and what they could mean for volunteers, community organisations and the future of volunteering on the Central Coast in this week's Central Coast Newspapers.

For almost 40 years, Volunteering Central Coast has helped connect local people with volunteer opportunities and supported community organisations to recruit and retain volunteers. Proposed funding changes could put this local volunteering infrastructure at risk.

Take a moment to read the story and learn why protecting local volunteer support matters.
