Located centrally on the Sunshine Coast, North Arm Rifle Club at the Davison Range Target Sports Complex offers an amazing and convenient opportunity for people of all ages and genders to get invloved in long range target rifle shooting without having to travel far away to remote areas. The range has a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by farms and green hilly bushland which has encouraged its well known reputation for challenging winds.

This Saturday’s club competition brings together Target Rifle, F-Class and Sporter shooters for an afternoon of precision, patience and friendly rivalry.

Add a working bee in the morning, a few stories in the clubhouse, and it’s shaping up to be a great day at North Arm Rifle Club.

What happening today at North Arm Rifle Club?

500 yards of precision, patience, and continual improvement.

Today, North Arm Rifle Club comes together for an afternoon of competition and practice, where every shot offers feedback, every condition presents a challenge, and every shooter is pursuing their own standard of excellence.

Registration closes at 12:15pm. Shooting commences at 12:30pm.

Including the Australian FTR Team visiting in a build up to Bisley this year, 40 competitors took to the mound for the 400 yard competition.

It was a close race in all divisions today.
Michelle and Josh T battled it out in Target Rifle, both finishing the day with 103. Michelle winning the day with 14 V's over Josh's 13 V's.
Des only dropped one point in each string to win F Standard with 124.15
Dave B started the day with a single possible 60.8 and went on to win F Open with a total 125.12
Visiting Australia FTR Team member Franz tamed the North Arm wind with a tidy single possible 66.5 in his second string and won scoring 124.9 for the day.
Sporter Production was a close race with the top 3, all only dropping 1 point each for the day, and all getting single possibles on the way. Dave H finished the day with 104.8, Corrie found a couple more V's to finish with 104.10 but Nate started with a strong V count early & maintain to the end to win the day with 104.14
Sporter Open upped the ante with the top 2 scoring double possible. Mark R put up 50.6 / 55.8 - 105.14 and Mick F found one V with his last shot of the day to win 50.6 / 55.9 - 105.15

Another great day on the range at North Arm Rifle Club, where discipline, focus and perseverance were on full display. Every shot brought its own challenges, reminding us that success in target shooting is earned through patience, precision and trust in your process.

Michelle worked through the squirrely wind to win Target Rifle with 102.12
Caleb was strong in F Standard scoring a solid 123.7 to take victory.
F Open had a couple of single possibles, one being Dave B 66.6 on his way to win with 125.10
Nate scored a possible in his first string 50.5 and only dropped one in his second 54.3 on the way to a Sporter Production win with 104.8
Sporter Open came down to a battle of the V's!! Mark R started the day with a 50.6 and took victory with a total 103.11 but had Adrian L chasing closely, only 1 centre behind with 103.10
