The Rotary Club of North Hobart is a dynamic, multi-generational collective of Hobart locals—from young professionals to seasoned mentors—who believe that "small things make a big difference". We’ve traded stiff boardrooms for the relaxed vibe of The Maypole Hotel, where we meet every Tuesday at 6:00 PM to catch up over a drink and coordinate our latest projects. What We’re Doing Right Now:

We don’t just "meet"—we take action. Whether we are launching our Steady on Your Feet health initiative at Bunnings to keep our neighbors safe, or growing our Recycling Rewards stream with SEED, we focus on projects that are easy to join and high in impact.Why Join Us?Flexible Volunteering: We know life is busy. Today our club was honoured to visit Government House to celebrate World Polio day. Sixteen members attended and most of them found where the club photo was taken. Thanks to Ralph Teirney for the picture.

The Rotary Club of North Hobart has a great collaborator in COTA Tasmania. COTA supports our club by publicising our Open Night which occurs each year in October. So this year it was an easy decision when COTA called for stallholders at the inaugural Seniors Expo - of course, Rotary Club of North Hobart was available to talk all things Rotary. We had some great conversations, from environmental volunteering, to End Polio Now, to Falls Prevention Alliance Australia and DV Safe Phones. STV Windeward Bound and plenty more.

your Feet was? Why not carve a little time from the calendar to take this Spring Cleaning advice from the Falls Prevention Alliance Australia?

Don't know where to start with your spring clean?

Start with one room. Look at the places you walk through every day: hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and entrances.

Ask yourself:
👀 Can I see clearly where I'm walking?
👣 Is the floor clear?
🧹 Are there loose mats, rugs or clutter in the way?
🔌 Are cords safely out of my walking path?

You don't need to do everything at once. One safer space is a great start.
