A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who jumped into a spontaneous sausage sizzle today! 🌭👏

The kids absolutely loved the surprise treat, and judging by the smiles (and requests for seconds), it was a pretty big hit! 😊

A special mention to our dedicated teachers. With the rainy weather dampening our athletics hopes the last few weeks, we figured a little extra caffeine might help keep everyone powered through the day! We’ve made a sneaky $100 donation to the Teachers' Coffee Fund at Two Before Ten this morning with some of our profits from today ☕.

Today's impromptu BBQ was also excellent practice for next week's Athletics Carnival. At this rate, we'll be seasoned professionals on both the canteen and BBQ before the first race even starts! 🏃‍♀️🌭🏃‍♂️ We’re still after volunteers for next week so please let us know if you can help out!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make today’s BBQ happen. We love seeing our school community come together to create these fun moments for the kids.

🌭 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – MPS P&C Athletics Carnival BBQ - Thursday 4th June 🌭

We’re looking for a few more helpers to assist with our BBQ and canteen at the Athletics Carnival at the Rec Grounds.

Even an hour or two would make a huge difference! 🙌

🕗 8:00am – 10:00am
Setup crew needed for:
• Collecting supplies from school
• BBQ setup & cleaning
• Tables, signage & sales setup
• Food prep & cooking

🕙 10:00am – 12:00pm
Serving crew needed for:
• Cooking & serving food
• Selling drinks, snacks & lolly bags
• Handling payments
• Keeping stock topped up and tidy

🕛 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Pack up crew needed for:
• Closing down the BBQ area
• Cleaning & packing equipment
• Returning supplies to school/shed
• General tidy up

Many hands make light work, and these events simply can’t run without volunteers from our amazing school community ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day!!

Thank you to the Murrumbateman and MPS community for all the wonderful donations for our Mother’s Day stall!! Including who dropped off some beautiful gift packs. The students had an absolute ball picking out something special for the lovely ladies in their lives.

Shout out to the mums who gave up their morning to help - you’re the bees knees 🐝
