Congrats to the Workshop team who have smashed it this past quarter! 💪💪

March - May - 5,746 pallets
June - August - 7,418 pallets

That's a massive difference of 1,672 pallets being built - about 30%!! Congratulations to the team on this fantastic result - our Chief Operating Officer had to congratulate the team in person and celebrate the remarkable progress.

Gumnut has been using NLE/Girbau laundry machines since 2010, and we appreciate the great service we get from them to ensure we're able to keep up and running for our customers.

Jodie is Gumnut's go-to Laundry guru, but she's a woman of many skills! She's also the backup perpetual-trophy-putter-togetherer, and she was called upon to assemble a new perpetual shield for a local footy club.

Not really.. But the boys in the Kitchen are wrapping up some wrap platters for a catering order today!

On the left is a new member of the Gumnut team - Pete!

Pete's a qualified chef, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Gumnut kitchen. Combined with the skills and dedication of our supported employees like Kye, the Kitchen team delivers quality catering that's fresh, delicious, and ready for our customers to enjoy!

The staff of The Gumnut Place would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited us on our Open Day to celebrate 40 years of service to the community.

Without the support of the community, The Gumnut Place wouldn't be able to exist and provide meaningful employment for people with a disability.

We are excited to continue to serve our community for many years to come.

Jacob's picking up new skills! 🛠️

For the first time, Jacob has loaded Gumnut's heat treatment kiln full of 1,190 pallets!

This amount of pallets takes about 2 weeks for the workshop team to produce, and takes the forklift operator around a day to load into the kiln, another day to heat treat.

After this, each pallet is hand-stamped with our heat treatment certification mark, and then shipped off all over the planet!
