Still getting over our first bday celebrations and waiting for some photos to come through. We would like to first thank all our Volunteers who assist each week and make this space what it is. To Luke, Sam, Alison, Steve, Michelle and Sophie I appreciate your help and love sharing this space with you. To all the people that come along each week thank you as this is what community is all about and to see you cheer each other on and build the new found friendships is so heart warming. Then I would also like to thank our sponsors for the day for donating money to help us keep this place running and of course our morning tea and decorations for the day. Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Hugh Jones MLA, Apex Support Services, CareHaus, Being Human Plan and Care, Qare Service and Mars Plan Management. Thank you for helping us to celebrate and create moments like this. As I have been working in the background trying to get non for profit and grants applied for this group. It keeps amazing me each week of the connections made. We have been busy creating some bee baths and last week Soph was back doing some glass painting. Things are always happening here with great fun, lots of laugh and chats looking forward to our first bday celebration in next couple of weeks. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Our 1st Birthday is just around the corner… and we’re excited to soon share another special event happening in the space!

I’m also exploring the idea of opening Fridays as a “Mindful Day” — a chance for people to slow down, reset, and ease into the weekend. The focus would be on a calm, relaxed atmosphere with gentle activities such as meditation and sound healing.

I’m currently looking for anyone who may be interested in helping to support or run these sessions, keeping the day grounded, peaceful, and centred around low-key, restorative activities.

If this feels like something you’d love to be part of, I’d love to hear from you 🌿
