🎅🚒 Annual Mundijong Bushfire Brigade Santa Run! 🚒🎅

Ho, ho, hold on to your hats, Mundijong – Santa’s trading in his sleigh for a fire truck this Christmas! 🌟
📅 When? Saturday, 20th December, from 9 AM
🌍 Where? Santa’s hitting the road with THREE simultaneous routes:
• Mundijong
• Whitby
• Mardella
🎄 What’s Happening?
Santa will be spreading holiday cheer, handing out goodies, and waving to all the amazing families in our community. Check out the attached maps to see when Santa will be rolling down your street! 🚒✨
PS. If you hear sirens around Mundijong on the 20th of December, don’t be alarmed – it’s just Santa and his festive fire truck spreading Christmas joy! 🎅

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the Geraldton bushfires. Several members of the Mundijong Volunteer Fire Brigade have been deployed to assist, working alongside crews from across the state.

It’s already been a busy start to the season, with multiple incidents across the Perth metro area. Now is the perfect time to review your bushfire plan, prepare your property, and ensure your household is ready for the months ahead.

This Saturday, we’ll be down at the Serpentine Jarrahdale Landcare Centre from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm for the Fire Wise Garden Event.

🚒 The Mundijong Volunteer Bushfire Brigade will have our fire trucks on display — come take a look, chat with our volunteers, and learn what it’s like to be part of the brigade!

🌿 Explore the Fire Wise Garden, discover how to make your home and property more bushfire ready, and enjoy a sausage sizzle — all proceeds go directly to supporting your local volunteer brigade.

Bring the family, grab a sausage, check out the trucks, and support your local volunteers!

🚒 Joint Training at Mundijong with Cardup Career Fire Station 🚒
A few weeks ago we welcomed our neighbours from Cardup Fire Station to Mundijong for a joint training night. The session gave us a good opportunity to get familiar with each other’s appliances, run some pump training, and build a better understanding of how we can operate together on the fireground.

Thanks to the Cardup crew for a great night of training — we look forward to more in the future as we continue responding together in SJ and across the State. 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒
